Margaret St Camp hill – Jan Hogarth Architects
Jan Hogarth Architects designed a simple yet effective extension to a small 2 bedroom Queenslander.
We demolished nearly all facets of the existing house – internally, while extending with a timber sub-floor. Adding additional bedrooms / kitchen / bathroom / ensuite and large rear and front decks for additional entertaining.
With finger pulled joinery and stone vanities and under mount sinks the house had a revitalised appeal. A waterfall 40mm bench with subway tiles provide clean lines with a grey-style contemporary finish.
Raised rendered planter-boxes and concrete steps were built to tie the rear deck into the landscaping. Both internally and externally were finished with simple but cleaver colours and palatable finishes.
Jan Hogarth Architects has achieved a design to suit the clients budget whilst still including large living areas both internally and externally.
